The interviews are back. I still don't have my computer that has the other interviews on the notebook but since the people who were interviewed haven't e-mailed me back or posted anything for me, I'm guessing they don't care or they don't come to this page to see me explaining why theirs haven't been posted. Anyway, moving on.....
This interview is with the lovely Tintin, just click her name to take a trip to her blog.
- What's your blog about? This is your one and only chance to plug your blog.
It’s all about my views, ideas and perspectives about lots of things. Collaboration of thoughts and insights. Every little things that I came across daily and various happenings with me. Thoughts about life in general, mostly about relationships, sexuality, women and men. As long as random questions keep coming to me, I’ll probably keep asking about them. They’re thoughts on nothing in particular and more. I love my website, but I’m not in love with it. Does that make me a bad person? This is the place where I could bitch, moan and otherwise say what’s on my mind. The rest of the world may not care, but I do.
2. One of your most recent posts was a horoscope. How often do you check yours and how often do you really believe what they tell you?
Once in a while, because I know trusting them too much is taboo, yet I do find some truth to them. Answer to the question lies very much in the same realm as why people believe in just about any superstition. Everything that happens to us, even the slightest or seemingly most significant events, happens for a particular reason. Horoscope is just smoke screen to deflect your attention from what is going on, which is a cold reading. I don’t believe everything it says, for some of the advice is usually very vague and general, I often be better than no advice at all.
3. You have a banner at the top of your page promoting the site OpenMind which works against prejudice, discrimination, bigotry and the like. You know there will always be people who discriminate and have blind hatred for others. What made you join and want to promote this site?
They have the same main goal as my personal blog, to gather open-minded people, to promote an open-minded attitude and approach towards different aspects of society. I grew up and live in a country with such variety of ethnicities, sexual orientations, cultural values, religious beliefs, political positions, and so on. Everyone is unique, with their perspectives and I respect that. Open-mindedness can tune us in to a pathway, and definitely a learning experience. I don’t see being open as vulnerability or susceptibility. Openness is sometimes called guru thinking or scientific thinking. I observe and act without intention and observe the results and learn from them. Pure sense of it is never a surprised because I don’t presuppose the results, but learn from whatever happens. This doesn’t mean I don’t make theories, it does, however, means that I don’t cling to those theories. We meet a lot of people everyday with different viewpoint than ours, we don’t have to give up our own beliefs and accept theirs. We should just try to listen to and understand others point of view on the subject and try to see where are they coming from. This simply means, we should respect each other and don’t claim that our opinion is better or right and that they are false.
Remember, what is normal for some is not normal for others. So let’s all embrace diversity, for the world is too big to be alone.
4. From reading your blog, I know you work in research and development. I can't be sure but I'm sure when you were five that wasn't your dream job. So please tell us about a few of the jobs you thought would be cool to have when you were a kid.
As a kid, I was always ‘fascinated’ to be a president, be that of a country, large company, or any other position where I will be doing a job using my mind and making decisions instead of taking orders. I was one of those girls who wanted to be president some day. I want to hold a position of any weight, power or prestige. I was encouraged to believe in myself. I never believed in a glass ceiling or that I can’t do anything. I was taught that I could choose whatever honest job would make me happy and content.
5. WOULD you ever do the following? Explain your answer.
Swim nude in the ocean: Sure, why not.
Bungee jump: I don’t mind jumping, but with my head first? No way
Eat worms for a hundred dollars: I’ll give you two hundred, if you’ll eat it first
Mud wrestle: I’ve done wrestling, but not in the mud
Tell your boss he/she is an idiot: I did, without her knowing it
Go a week without a shower: I can’t even last a day without it
Cry to get out of trouble: Nope, crying are for little girls. Hehe
6. If you had the option of either, Dying in happiness at a young age or Dying unhappy but very rich when you're 80, which would you choose and why?
I hate talking about death, but just for the sake of answering the question. Neither, I planned on living to my latest and with great happiness.
7. Word Association. I say the word, you respond with the first word or phrase that comes to your mind.
Cliff: Hanger
Kiss: Lip Lock
Angeline Jolie: Tomb Raider
Wood: Hard
Tangerine: Living room
Pink: Fresh
Eagle: US Seal
Money: Dollar
Glitter: Mariah Carey
Bookstore: Barne’s and Nobles
Pop: Soda
8. Pretend that you're a princess back in the 1800's. Your parents, the King and Queen are in the process of picking a husband for you out of all your suitors. They've narrowed it down to three and since you find it unfair that they're picking for you in the first place, they've decided you can choose one of the three they've narrowed it down to.
The first one is tall and gorgeous prince. He's a drunk though and he will verbally berate you billgerently every night. He'll be very arrogant because of his good looks and he will treat you like you're lucky to be in his presence. He's wealthy and will financially take good care of you but he will use the rich gifts he buys you to make up for the fact that he will spend little time with you.
The second is a good looking prince as well. He is still quite attatched to his mother and refuses to move from her castle, so if you marry him, you too will be living in his mothers home and obeying all her rules. He will cling to you and never let you have any privacy because he gets very attatched to his love interestd. He has horrendous body odor and no amount of scrubbing and cleaning can make it go away.
The third is also a gorgeous prince. He will treat you like the royalty you are and buy you everything you ever wanted. He will take you out and show you off to everyone but never leave your side so everyone knows that you are his. He will take care of you when you are sick and he will always listen to you talk. He loves women and he will adore you, never hit and never yell at you. Problem being, he does loves women and will have many, many mistresses through out your life together.
Those are the three they have chosen for you. Which do you pick and why?
What kind of parents do I have? These men are the best of the best? First prince, a NO, why? Arrogance to me is a big turn off, it’s a bad habit and rank among the worst. Second prince, a NO NO, why? I can’t stand a guy who can’t stand up for their own self. Call it selfish, but if I marry a man I won’t share a bed with another woman and sure won’t settle for a number two position in his life. Third prince, a flying F*** NO, who would go for a cheating bastard? Would you go for a guy who can’t keep his penis in his pants? These kind of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.
Bottom line, I’d rather be unmarried than be with someone who will look, step down, treat and think of me less than I deserved.
9. Take a walk down Memory Lane

Monday, July 04, 2005
I decided to post all the blog interviews that I had finished. I'm going to be away for a while, I'm not sure how long exactly but in 3 or so weeks, everything will be worked out and I'll be back to posting more often. Things are a little on the weird side lately I suppose. I dont have my own computer right now. I'm in the process of moving a couple states away. It takes time. There's other stuff going on as well. It'll all be worked out and done with soon. Until then, consider me and this blog on hiatus.
Happy 4th of July!
Be safe but have fun if you celebrate in any way.
All of you enjoy the Summer!
Have fun! Take it easy!
See you soon.

My next interview is with Ms Rae! She's a college student living in Arizona but don't write her off as the average college girl. She has some interesting things that get her clock to tick. Click here to view her blog.
1. What's your blog about? This is your one and only chance to plug your blog.
For a long time, I thought that my blog was about my knitting projects. I don't have a lot of time to knit during school, so I started writing random little tidbits. Right now, I have a lot more tidbits than anything, so my blog is about living, working and going to school in Tucson. I work in the emergency room as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and that alone gives me stories galore. I try to keeps things short and lighthearted, but every once in a while, some mushy stuff slides through. I like having an eclectic mix of entries because I'm a very scattered person.
2. In your blog you say you like to "make trouble with the help of my *wonderful* friends." So tell us a story about the most fun you've had getting in trouble with the help of your friends.
I was driving to my friends' house after a party and he was in the car in front of me. We turned onto a new street and got stuck behind this pick-up going, literally, 5 mph. My friend honked at the truck in an effort to nudge them back up to speed. The truck stopped and three wannabe vatos got out. They walked over to my friends' car and started giving him shit. I pulled up alongside them, opened my door and said, "I am an off-duty police officer. If you don't want anymore trouble tonight, then I suggest you go back to your car." The guys were like, "Yeah, whatever," but they went back to the truck and drove away...at the correct speed limit. It was pretty silly, but that's one of my favorite stories. I was always a little worried that my friend would be embarrassed that a girl stood up for him, but, whatever.
3. I snuck over and checked out your blog profile. I noticed that you're in to guns and target shooting. What do you think about the people who think civilians shouldn't own a gun much less use one for recreation purpose?
I understand that there is a big anti-gun movement out there. It doesn't really bother me. I'm not some conservative extremist here to debate ethics or the Constitution. I'm just a girl who likes guns. I'm very responsible and that's the best I can do - I can't control all the bad people. To answer your question, I feel that those with that opinion should relax it a bit. It insults me when people start fixating their anger on something generalized and stereotyped. We all know that more people die in car accidents than are killed in shootings, but rarely do you see anyone lobby for tougher criteria to get a driver's license. I try to keep an open mind...I think others should too.
4. You list herpetology as an interest in your blog you mention amphibians and reptiles in a few of your entries. Your license plate cover on your car has the word "kikker" which is Dutch for "frog" and you have a pet snake. What got you interested in reptiles and amphibians?
I can't pinpoint it. Something sparked my interest and it's been the itch that won't go away ever since. Herps are just fascinating to learn about and I especially enjoy their anatomy and physiology. Snakes are pretty fun to keep. There's a lot more research involved in getting a reptile as compared to a mammal. Reptiles have different needs and things like temperature and humidity levels need to be monitored. That aside, snakes can be a lot less work than, say, cats. They eat less often and are less messy.
The frog thing is a little different. 'Frog' was a nickname I had when I was in elementary school. People started giving me little frog nick-knacks and such and my collection has been growing ever since. Now I suppose it encompasses my entire love affair with herps as well as just being my 'thing.' I'm sorry to say, however, that frogs are way cuter than snakes.
5. Have you done the following?
Bought a drink in a bar for a member of the opposite sex: Yes, but it was for a friend, so it wasn't to make a pass at them. Does that still count?
Played Hide-N-Seek in a graveyard: No
Cried to get your way: Hmm...whined, maybe, but I don't know about cried.
Been pushed into a lake/pool with your clothes on: Of course!
Dyed your hair hot pink: No
Gone hunting: Amazingly enough, no.
Got into a chick fight in a public place: Yes. It was last year at school. This may shock you, but I was in the wrong. Still felt good to scream at someone, though.
6. What's the worst thing that's happened to you in the last 6 months?
Getting arrested. I wasn't dragged away in cuffs so I don't have too much to complain about. Still, it has added a bunch of extra stress in my life that I don't really feel like dealing with. For instance, my second court date was scheduled during finals week.
7. Word Association. I say the word, you respond with the first word or phrase that comes to your mind.
Parrot: tropical
Mountain: snow
Coca-Cola: always (damn. I'm a corporate whore)
Cemetery: ouji board
Purple: color
Silk: worm
Tarantula: Desert Museum
Mummy: daddy
Clint Eastwood: hardcore
Drums: rhythm
Taffy: laffy!
8. Time for the hypothetical crazy question. You are cursed by an evil Monk named Monk Celibate Butt and you have to give up one of two things for an entire year. There is no going back once you choose and if you break, you will be severely punished by having both things taken away from you for as long as you live. If you make it a full year, you will be rewarded by riches and an abundance of what you went without. Your first option is to give up all alcoholic beverages, coffee and all caffeine beverages and only drink water, all day, every day for a complete year. Your second option is to give up doing anything fun be it by yourself or with friends. Which would you choose and why?
Oh good god, the drinks! I certainly love going to the bars, but I could live without alcohol for a year. Plus, it would make my friends happy because they'd always have a DD. You can have just as much fun sober as you can drunk, but I don't think that I could be drunk and not have fun. I enjoy...ok, I love coffee and other caffeinated beverages, but water is certainly healthier. I had braces for three years and couldn't drink soda with them and I dealt with it just fine.
9. Take a walk down Memory Lane. Please share your fondest memory about the following dates.....
1989: I started kindergarten, which I was very excited about. I was thrilled to learn how to read.
1994: I got my ears pierced for the first time.
1996: First cross-country trip with my family.
2001: Trip to Lake Havasu with my brother. For the record, I have far more bad memories associated with this year than good ones.
2002: Graduation! That summer, I went to the best parties of my life and I fell in love with a wonderful guy.
2004: Rekindling a friendship.
Any 4th of July: Spending it on the beach in San Juan Capistrano with Mike (ex-boyfriend.) It was a great trip.
Any day last month: My birthday. I'm 21, baby!
10. Parting Words from Rae....
Last alcoholic beverage you consumed: Jack and Coke
Last time you went shopping for clothes: March
Last meal you cooked: It's embarrassing, but I've been living off of Easy Mac, Spaghetti O's and fast Mexican food for quite a while now. I don't remember the last thing I actually cooked.
Least favorite thing about college: Being in college. I can't think of one thing that I actually like about it.
ast time you received a gift from someone: Teresa gave me my Christmas present over spring break in March. It's a bamboo in a frog vase.
Last time you had a bubble bath: Last year sometime. I was really into baths last year.
Last item you purchased that you didn't need: Alcohol

My next interview is with Hannah. I did one with her buddy a while back and now she's up for her time. She's a co-author on this blog right here and from there you can go visit her website and other blos. Make sure yo check it out after you read her interwiew.
1. What's your blog about? This is your one and only chance to plug your blog.
My blog has no real purpose. It's just someplace that I hope people can come to to laugh, cry, make fun of me and have a good time at. It tends to be more directed to my school life and what's happening to me from day to day. I hope that people can come there and either burst out laughing or have a tear come to their eye.
2. In your blog you mention your friends a lot. Tell us a story about the nicest things one of your friends has ever done for you.
That's a hard one. The one thing that comes to mind was when Steve helped me through a hard time. (You would probably think that I'm really stupid for getting this worked up) He told me that the boy that I liked at school was dating a girl that I can't stand. I got really upset about it because to me it was adding insult to injury that the girl he chose was how do I put it....evil. He talked me through everything even though he was having his own share of problems with his ex-girlfriend. He didn't bring her up once and that selfliss act is what sticks out most in my mind.
3. I snuck over and found your side section on the great Carl McCarl's blog and see you have a younger sister that, in your words "annoys the crap out of you." What does she do that reall gets under your skin?
The thing that REALLY gets under my skin about my sister is that she ALWAYS gets whatever she wants. She is spoiled rotten. And she is the biggest cry-baby ever. If my parents don't bring her something from the store when they go out, she throughs a fi
4. What's your three favorite movies and why?
Robots because Robin Williams is in it and it in my opinion is friggin hilarious.
Pirates of the Carribean because it is adventerous and funny at the same time...it helps that Orlando Bloom is in it.
The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King I like this one because it is wonderfully animated with the special graphics and the story is wonderful. For me it's even a tear jerker towards the end
5. Have you done the following?
Vandalized someone elses property: yes but it was minor
Punched a hole into a wall: no
Stuck gum in someone's hair: no
Been in a mosh pit at a rock show: maybe I'm not sure
Gone a full day without eating anything: yes a few times
Ran away from home: no
Played Hide-N-Seek in a church: probably
6. 6. What's the funniest thing that you've seen happen during school this passed school year?
I can't remember any given day but History class is always extremely funny. My teacher's a little psycho. We talk about different ways to kill Curious George.
7. Word Association. I say the word, you respond with the first word or phrase that comes to your mind.
Algebra: stupid annoying guy that won't leave me alone
Kiwi: yum
Metallica: a band
Tequila: a funny song
Wedding: white
Fuzzy: cat
Pig: Sara
Remedy: medicine High: WEEE!!!!!!
Diaper: old people
Whale: water
8. Time for the hypothetical crazy question. You are cursed by an evil Frog named Lord Sticky Fly. He's placing a curse on you that will last for an entire year. He's showing mercy and letting you choose the curse. If you break it at anytime before the 365 days are up, Lord Sticky Fly will curse you with both options forever. If you manage it for a year, you get the curse removed and will be given $3 million non-taxable dollars. Your choices are one, everything you eat no matter what you put on or in it will taste like mud. Your second choice is you will have your sister handcuffed to you 12 hours out of every day and have Barney handcuffed to you for the other 12 hours of the day, this happens every day for a year. Which do you choose and why??
I would choose being hand-cuffed to my sister and Barney. I trufully would hate it if I had Chinese food and it tasted like mud. I might start crying.
9. Take a walk down Memory Lane. Please share your fondest memory about the following dates...
1994: moved to a new house
1997: big camping trip
1999: nothing
2000: Y2K and the world ending stuff
2003: staying a week at Pioneer village
2004: 'Kundawg' (a REALLY hot guy) saying that me and him should get to together and re-write some camp songs
Any of your passed Birthdays: ast year. I got a letter from Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) the week before and a lot of other cool things happened
Any day last Summer: 'Crazy Daze' Sara and I were on a sugar high and we went shopping
10. Parting Words from Hannah....
Last time you were sick: a few weeks ago
Last time you hung out at the mall: a least a month ago
Last time you cooked something: Saturday 29 of April
Least favorite thing about the people in your school: they're so STUPID!!!
Last thing you got in trouble for by a teacher: talking
Last time you went swimming: in January sometime
Last time you cleaned your room: 2 weeks ago
Swearing is F#@KING bad for you!!!!!!!!

How much of this do you really know?
Did You Know?
The average person....
....blinks 9,365 times a day
....uses 17 muscles to smile
....uses 43 muscles to frown
....usheds 600,000 particles of skin every hour
....by age 70, will have shed 40 or more pounds of skin
....can detect 10,000 different colors
....has 10,000 taste buds, which can identify more than 500 flavors
In your lifetime, the average person will....
....grow 1,000 new skins (your outer skin cells regenerate every 27 days.)
....drink 16,000 gallons of water
....make enough spit to fill 2 swimming pools (about 23,000 quarts)
....walk 100,000 miles
....grow 590 miles of hair
...................................................... * * * ......................................................
I know that was just fascinating. Maybe some of you knew these things, maybe some of you didn't. Maybe you learned at least one new thing. Of course, maybe you didn't. I've been really lazy about updating lately. I've had very few people visiting here so I don't want to take the time to post a lot if people aren't seeing it. Then again, people would likely start coming again if I stopped being lazy and started posting more. It's such a counter productive cycle when you think about it.
So, from now on I will try to update at least twice a week and see if I can get some readers back. Sounds good to me. I still have a couple people's blog interviews to get published, so look for one of those to be my next entry. If you submitted an interview and haven't seen yours posted, please let me know. I don't have my computer anymore and didn't get the chance to copy anything off of it. That resulted in me losing A LOT of stuff, including quite a few of the interviews. For that, I apologize.
Anyway, have a great end of the week and have a great weekend! Hopefully Summer's going well for everyone.

Hello.
Anyone still stopping by here at all? I've been thinking about deleting my blog since it doesn't seem like many people are dropping by and also because I've seriously slacked in any real updating lately. That might account for the lack of visitors. Heh. So if you still drop by to check things out around here, leave me a comment and let me know. Also, thanks. :)

Sorry I've been MIA lately. I've been really busy and don't have much time to spend on the computer. Here's a few pretty easy riddles, try and guess the answwers by commenting and then I'll post the answers to these riddles in a few days.
1.) What kind of room has no door, no windows, no floor, and no roof?
2.) What starts with an "e", ends with an "e" and only contains one letter?
3.) What's blue, green, yellow, red, purple, brown, black and white?
4.) A man takes a barrel that weighs 20 pounds and then puts something in it. It now weighs less than 20 pounds. What did he put in it?
5.) When I point up, it's bright. When I point down, it's dark. What am I?

My next interview is Trent. He's a college guy with a lot going on his head. Click here to view his blog.
1. What's your blog about? This is your one and only chance to plug your blog.
”The Intricate Workings of This Life” or just “This Life” is a personal journal where Trant leaves his thoughts, feelings, emotions, and other ramblings as he makes his way through life……
2. In your blog profile you list "Conservatism" as a dislike. Why?.
I guess I should have been more specific….When I talk about conservatism, I’m talking about keeping things they way they currently are. Now, to me, just wanting to keep things the way they are just because it’s “tradition” or it’s “just the way it is” is a very closed minded thing. Oh, and I guess I should also point out that I usually mean social things. Usually past things come to mind when I think of really disturbing acts of conservatism. I think about the Civil Rights movement, women’s rights, student’s rights, young people’s rights, senior’s rights. If you think about it, there have been entire movements to stop those things from happening in the interest of keeping things they way they’ve always been, to keep things simple, and to keep things so that they don’t actually have to consider that they might be….wrong!! …. (I should have told BC not to get me started on politics)….. Anyway, honestly, I am a registered Independent and, of course, tend to lean to the left. I chose not to be in a party because then you are labeled as being that, and with that label, you are automatically assumed to have certain opinions….I like to keep my mind open and I actually do change my opinions….often, so it really isn’t in my interest to be tied down to one thing. Anyway, I just don’t like closed mindedness to hamper any progress that might be made through any political or social process.
3. You're attending South Dakota State University and majoring in computer information systems. What got you interested in this field of study and what do you plan on doing with it after college?
Well, I’ve always kinda been interested in computers. Ever since I was introduced to one in elementary school, I was hooked. Sure they were those old Apple IIe’s with the ugly green screen with the big ass floppy disks that held all those cool games we played, but I just saw a lot of functionality in those computers which really intrigued me. Amazingly, unlike a lot of other computer guys, I have only owned three computers in my lifetime. I just really like to tinker around with them, try to make them perform faster and work correctly. That’s really what I’m going to school for. I hope to ultimately become and IT (Information Technology) manager and manage the operations of a computer system within a company or many companies. Basically what my major is: Computers with a specialization in working with them in a business environment.
4. From reading your blog, I know you're deep and tend to think about things quite a bit. So right now I'd like to ask a totally bogus question with little importance because I can do that. So think about everything you've ever been given and tell us your five favorite things you've ever owned. It can be a toy or a piece of equipment, just any five that stick out in your mind and explain why they rocked.
Yup, I’m pretty deep….at times, a bit too deep. Kind of a difficult question, because most of the things given to me that I really treasure weren’t really tangible gifts. In the interest of making this thing as long as possible, I’ll do both.
Given to me (intangible): (I’ll let you figure out why these “rocked”)
1. The letter from my friend Jennifer when she was on vacation a few years ago….I still have it (I was going through old papers this weekend and I found it and I was reminded of how touched I was)
2. The opportunities given to me by my parents by moving to a larger city…..it’s called “money”
3. The courage I received from Karmen while I was really down on myself…..the whole “just be yourself” angle
4. The excellent family and friend support I received when I got fired (the first time)…..yeah, that sucked
5. The friendship from my two best buddies in the world….I wouldn’t be here without them.
Given to me (tangible):
1. My first computer (for obvious reasons). I really don’t know what I would be going to school for if it wasn’t for that.
2. My “big people’s” bike. I got this for Christmas many years ago. It was my lone source of transportation around the streets of my hometown. About 2 months after moving from my hometown to the bigger city, it got stolen out of our camper. :-(
3. My first Nintendo. I killed a lot of time on that thing….I think it also killed my eyes, too. I certainly didn’t get these bad eyes from reading too much.
4. (Not really tangible) My first kiss….it’s been a hell of a long time since then, but it was still good.
5. (Also not tangible) My blog….kinda self explainitory
5. Have you done the following?
Done something inappropriate in public: Like, being in a bus with a bunch of football players and mooning half of the school faculty while riding past them?....maybe….
Looked at raunchy pictures: now that’s not even fair….who hasn’t?!?
Been to New Zealand: Haven’t, but I’d love to….that and Australia
Thought about going Scuba Diving: You obviously do not know about my fear of water…. :-)
Petted a dolphin: Also would love to if I didn’t have to swim with it.
Held your breath under water to time it: See above
6. What's the hardest decision you've had to make in the last 365 days?
It’s not the hardest, but the hardest I’m going to reveal……deciding to go to SDSU for a year instead of staying where I was and just go the whole 4 years at the same place
7. Word Association. I say the word, you respond with the first word or phrase that comes to your mind.
Flower: Lily
Glob: Goop
Shakira: Booty
Holiday: Green Day
Lubricant: Anal….best when used in the context of “Anal Lube”. Lubricant sounds too medial to me…..sorry to go off on a tangent there
Orthodox: Jew
Chemical: Plant
Wrestling: Hulk Hogan
California: My vacation in two weeks!!
Renegade: That movie with Arnold
8. You're about to be cursed by the evil monkey god Chimp Ban Ge. In his extreme monkey mercy, he's giving you two choices. You can either be cursed to walk on all fours like a dog and only be able to communicate by passing bodily functions or all of the skin on your body will be changed into lime green colored and extra stinky fish scales. You will be this way every day for one full year. Which would you choose and why?
Probably being on all fours as a dog because you can mess with people that way…and I could stand a year of just laying around, farting, belching and having fun with people that way
9. Take a walk down Memory Lane. Please share your fondest memory about the following dates...
1989: Probably my Kindergarten screening…sorry, the only other memory before that was when I was 3.
1992: Breaking my left pinkie finger
1995: When my “secret crush” found I liked her
1999: Moving to the big city: Sioux Falls
2000: Can’t think of anything else…..Meeting Jennifer
2002: Working at Kmart and meeting a bunch of my friends
2004: My first year in college
Any Saturday: My and my friend’s high school graduation parties.
10. Parting Words from Trent....
You've heard the old saying, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste"...well, it's true. Yes, I do consider myself to be a fairly "deep" person and I tend to think a lot...sometimes a bit too much at times, but it is for good reason. I like to challenge my intelect and see whether I can grasp certain concepts. Keep your mind open to new possibilities on how to look at things in life and don't ever just take someone's word for it; go out there and see for yourself and make your own opinion....and don't ever be afraid to change your opinions. Just because politicians don't do it, doesn't mean that you shouldn't. All arguments do not have two sides....they have many sides, don't let anyone tell you something is just Black or White. Attempt to see things from all possible angles and then make your decision. Expand your mind and you will see the world with new eyes.....get some sunglasses, though; some stuff is pretty hard to look at.
Last meal you ate: Went to Cubby's and had a big burger and seasoned fries...and about 4 glasses of water...no more soda for me
Last electronic item you purchased: Ooooh, one of my favorite subjects. Umm, probably my PS2, but before that it was my surround sound system. It's gonna be a while before I buy any more stuff
Last time you had a date: Date? I really don't think people in college really "date" per se, they usually just hang out at each other's dorms, which I do quite often, but usually not with anyone that I'm interested in....ask me again after this weekend *wink* and look for an "Allison" entry to show up on my blog.
Least favorite thing about living in a dorm: Well, my dorm actually has sinks installed in each room, so that's nice. Other than that, having a single room (only you living in it) gives you your privacy and the freedom to do whatever you want within reason.
Last time you drank kool aid: It's been months....I should go make some now...
Last time you ran a red light: Years ago, proly when I first started driving. Back then, I worked nights and was always tired coming home. But I don't think I've ever ran one intentionally.
Last time you skipped a class: On purpose: April 22nd, Overslept for it: April 15, With a reason: April 18.
