Anyway...

I'm so disoriented at the moment!

Part of it's because my computer's still jacked and a lot of my stuff I need is saved on files that I have to have my internet access to get to them. Soo... Sorry for all the people I was in the process os sending stuff to or working on interviews for. I'm just going to start over on the interviews. Weylin, I've got your name and going to start on yours when I can. Kristy with Vintage Rock, I sent yours a couple days ago but don't know if you've got it yet. Anyone else who wants one, hit me up now and I'll start on them on this computer and just save all my stuff on e-mails so I don't have this problem again.

If I was working on something else for you and you few people know who you are, then I'm sorry I'm just going to have to start over since my own computer/internet won't be fixed soon and I'll only have limited access.

I'm so happy to see people still dropping by here and leaving tags and mesaages. Nice to know I have some regulars who enjoy this place, haha. So check out my sex offenders entry since that's the most rivetting entry I've made in a while. Or just wait and *HOPEFULLY* I'll have something good and possibly entertaining up for your enjoyment in a few days or so.

It's Friday! So you all have a fantastic weekend! Have fun, be safe, don't do anything I wouldn't do, feel free to come help me pack for the move, relax and enjoy yourself! Woo!

Virus Alert

Virus Alert

There is a new virus. The code name is "WORK". If you receive WORK from your colleagues, your boss, via e-mail, or from anyone else, do not touch it under any circumstances. This virus wipes out your private life completely. If you should happen to come in contact with this virus, take two friends and go straight to the nearest bar. Order drinks immediately and after three rounds, you will find that WORK has been completely deleted from your brain.

Forward this virus warning immediately to at least five friends. Should you realize you do not have five friends, this means you are already infected by this virus and WORK already controls your life. If this is the case, go to the bar and stay until you make at least five friends.
BR< Then retry.

I think I have five friends, but am not entirely positive so I'm headed for the bar anyway.....it never hurts to be safe.

Update & A Little Controversy

Hey all!

I'm sorry my updates are coming fewer and far between. So much is going on lately.I'm working on the interviews when I have time so I'll get those out soon.

Hopefully people are still checking back here, lol. I'd hate to think everyone who frequented here gave up on me already. Just so you all know, my updates won't be as steady for a month or so. I'm moving into a new place hopefully in the next few weeks. So there's lots to be done and lots of preparations and all that fun stuff. So for about the next 6 weeks my updates won't be as frequent but I won't be leaving the blogland yet.

Since I haven't posted anything controversial in a while, I thought this might be a good thing to post. I wouldn't go straight to calling it controversial but it's definately a very touchy topic. Thanks to my friend Rocker, you are the coolest.

A couple days ago there was a special that came on the TV that was about sex offenders and how now a days it seems as if they're getting treated more as a victim than the actual victims are. The show started off oddly showing a man sentenced to 10 years for stealing luxury cars. He stole a lot of cars and finally got caught by wrecking the last one. How can a man be sentenced to that much time in jail for stealing cars? He only hurt himself when he wrecked the car. True, he put tons of other people at risk by doing this but to give him 10 years and then to sentence a sex offender 6 months to say that their crime wasn't as bad as the car thief, to me, makes no sense. I honestly believe that's worse than stealing a car. On the special, there was a guy who had been convicted & sentenced for molesting pre-teen and younger teenage girls. He did his time, was released and then a couple months later was caught molesting an eleven year old. Back to jail he goes. He was released again six months later because he served his time. Five  months later he got arrested on three new counts of sexual molestation on three different girls aged between ten to fourteen. Jail. Released again. Six months later he raped a twelve year old girl. Back to jail. Guess what? Released again after serving a few months. So to skip on, he's been in jail seven times on the same type of charges. They keep releasing him and he seemingly keeps doing the same shit. Then there was another guy who was put in jail four seperate times for raping women. His victimes were all between the ages thirteen to twenty. He's released now as well. He lives in a house East Texas. The reporter of the show we were watching went to this man's residence and talked to his neighbors. None of them knew he was a sex offender. Why? He's not registered as one and a LOT of repeat sex offenders.

A lot of people say they shouldn't have to have a sign in their front yard or say they shouldn't have to tell people that they're a sex offender. People say that it violates their privacy and it's no one's business but their own, that people don't have a right to judge them based on what they've done in the passed. That just because they've done it in the passed doesn't mean they'll repeat it and do it again.

I agree with parts of that. Some people get released and never do what landed them in jail again. Some don't though. I don't disagree with having them put signs in their yard. I think if they're sick enough to rape or molest a child or anyone for that matter, then people should know about it. Sure, that takes away their privacy and people will look at them differently. They should've thought about that before they did things they damn well knew were wrong though.

I know a few people close to me who have sexually assaulted/abused. One of my closest friends was sexually abused by one of his mother's boyfriends growing up.He never told anyone for years about it because he afraid worse would happen to him if he did. I know of other people close to me who've gone through ordeals like this but I won't mention any names, say how I know them or any of that. Thankfully, I've never been in that type of situation. So if I sound biased or harsh on any of this, that might help you understand my biased, mean opinoions of sex offenders outside the fact that I think they're scum plain and simple.

I can already see some people coming to the defense saying that a lot of sex offenders were abused as children or at some point in their life. That's not right and I'm sorry it happened to them. NO ONE should have to go through that. If they were abused at some point in their life, why do it to other people. I know they remember how much it hurt them physically and emotionally, so why put any other person through that?

I can also see someone coming and saying that sexual abuse isn't just about sex. It's also about power and having control over another person. I've heard professionals say that before. It makes sense and psychologically, it's probably no doubt true in a huge amount of cases. However, nothing you can say will convince me that what they're doing is any less bad because of the circumstances that surround it.

I also think that if they wanted help for their "problem" they could get it. I think if they didn't want to do it anymore and wanted to put an end to it but felt they had no control over it, I know there are people out there who specialize in this and could help them but they'd have to be willing to put an end to it. No one can ever just magically fix anyone's problem. Sure, even if they do undergo treatment and do live their life and never abuse anyone again, people will still look down on them. Again, they should've thought about the consequences to their actions before they did something like that.

I think people who rape anyone be it girls or boys of any age have a screw loose. I think they're sick people. As far as the one's I know who have been sexually abused go, if I ever saw the people who did it to them, I'd probably have to fight hard to not grab a knife and slice the man's balls and dick clean off. If anyone ever touched my little sister or little brother, I better not ever be let near them because I'd do the damage the judicial system can't do. Of course, my act of violence doesn't justify anything and probably makes me just as bad as them in a lot of people's eyes but to me, I wouldn't feel guilty about doing it.

Maybe it *is* a harsh way to look at it but again, I re-read the above and agree with it in totality. Feel free to comment be it positively or negatively. I just ask as always that you be mature and as respectful as you can be when doing so.

Have a great week everyone!

Wow~ Update!

Hi everyone!

Long time no see, eh? Sorry for the lack of updates. My computer's internet is on the fritz so I don't get to get on here every day right now. I should have it fixed pretty soon but right now I'm using a different computer. All of my interview stuff is on a program I have on my own computer but I need to be connected to the internet to log in to it. So, I won't stop doing interviews BUT I need everyone who knows they requested one but have yet to receive my email to PLEASE click  HERE and send me your email address and blog web address so I can still work on getting them done since I'm behind with them.

Next, I'm happy! I like basketball, have for some time. I love the NBA Finals. My hometown's team the Dallas Mavericks are still in it. They played their 4th game against Phoenix last night, the Mavs one and now the series is tied 2-2. Next game is Wednesday so I'll be hopefully able to watch the game. Whee!

Other than that, I don't think I'll write anymore. The computer I'm on now is on dial up and I'm used to cable so it's driving me a little nutso waiting 90 seconds for everything to load up. I hope you all had a great weekend and are having a great week!

Urban Gypsy Interview

Hey people! How's it going? So the next person doing an interview with yours truly is Urban Gypsy. Some of you I know have been to her blog and now what a wonderful woman she is. Go here for her blog. If you've read this far, keep going.

1. What's your blog about? This is your one and only chance to plug your blog.

I guess you could say it is the " Seinfeld" of the blog world, 'cause it truly isn't about anything important. It is just my little spot in the world to rant, rave, and dish. I like to think it is just a day in the life - sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's just an account of my day. I didn't expect to be so addicted to it. I love blogging, and visiting other peoples blogs.

2. You've got kids, you work and you're involved in a lot of stuff. If you could have an entire twenty four hours all to yourself with no interuption and the possibility t do anything your heart desired, what would be your ideal way to relax?

That, my dear, is an interesting question. There are several scenarios I can think of - but I suppose sleep in till like 9 a.m. Have a leisurely breakfast - go to one of those spa places and get a pedicure, manicure and massage. A quick lunch, then spend the afternoon browsing in a book store, or an antique mall. I would love to finish it off with a night at the symphony, or maybe a concert. Ahhhhhh, Heaven!

3. I see you're an America Idol addict too. Everyone idiolizes at least one person when they're a young kiddo. Who was your biggest idol when you were growing up and why?

Definately my Maternal Grandmother. I have blogged about her alot - she was one special woman. She was an artist in so many ways, she was a master seamstress, weaver, spun her own yarns, did crochet, tatting, knitting - she was wise and wonderful.

4. When you mention raising kids most parents will sigh and smile or make some sort of expression at it. Mention raising teenagers and you gt all kinds of different reactions. You still have a daughter in highschool too. Please share with us some of your most memorable moments about the children while going through the teenage years.

Wow - memorable. Well I can say my daughters final marching performance and final drumline performance rank right up there as memorable for me. Watching my 19 year old Son graduate from Boot camp was overwhelming - I was so proud! I have two step sons - I would rather not talk about one of them, but the 14 year old has written something really nice about me that I wasn't expecting so that was pretty special .

5. Have you done the following?

Tripped on a banana peel: Nope
Walked into a fire hydrant: Nope, but I did hit one with my car once...
Danced in the rain: Absolutely
Had something you were cooking explode: Yeppers - microwaves can be dangerous
Forgot a close friend/relative's birthday: :( yes
Gotten lingerie as a gift: Yes
Broken a mirror: Yes

6. Time for an silly question. You're taking up an add to try and find a home for your doggy that you can no longer afford to take care of. You want to make sure he gets placed with a good family and you want to make the add witty. So, write us an add that's no more than 50 words. You can't use any words that start with S and you can't use any words that end in N.

My Pooch's a peach, I'm telling truth -
you'll definately love him, he'll bring back your youth.
He isn't expensive, he's very healthy
To house him and love him you needn't be wealthy.

Has leash, will travel, give me a call -
this pooch is the best - no need for the mall!!

(whew! 50 words exactly! That was hard!!)

7. Word Association. I say the word, you respond with the first word or phrase that comes to your mind.

Lace: tatting
Johnny: Cash
Lacerated: hemostat
Bail: Jail
Bubblegum: YUCK
Cotton: Soft
Exfoliate: scrub
Paris Hilton: Old News and UG-LEE
Lightning: thunder
Liquid: Wet
Rubber: Condom
Mango: Sweet and juicy

8. I know you love chocolate. I know you really dislike rap music. You can either listen to two hours of rap music every day for an entire year or go en entire year without chocolate. If you stick with one of these for the entire three hundred sixty-five days, your reward is 5 million non-taxable dollars. Which one would you choose and why?

Oh mercy. I would have to say no chocolate for a year. My ears and my sanity wouldn't be able to handle rap music for two hours every day - no offense to anyone who likes that kind of music but I just can't stand it.

9. Take a walk down Memory Lane. Please share your fondest memory about the following dates...

1970: I was 8 - I don't remember much about being 8 except that I loved school...
1980: Graduated from High School...it was a blast.
1988: I was totally overwhelmed with 4 children the youngest was 2 the oldest was 7....but they were little and I enjoyed them a lot.
1993: We moved to Texas. I looooved Texas.
1996: met my wonderful husband.
2001: My daughter joined the Marching Band and drumline and my extra time was taken up with wonderful high school kids.
2003: I was able to raise $180,000.00 for new uniforms and a trip to Florida for the Marching band to participate in the half time show at the Orange Bowl. Raising that kind of money was very satisfying.
Any Summer: August 25, 1984 - when I became a Mom. The BEST day of my life.

10. Parting Words from Urban Gypsy...

"Where words fail, music speaks"

Music is very much a part of my life, it is what soothes my soul, it is what lets me breathe. I hope everyone who comes into my life, whether in real life or in blog land will linger, enjoy your time with me, and be honest. That's all that really matters, that people are honest and love eachother.

Last type of wine you drank: Beringers White Zinfandel
Last book you couldn't put down: "This Much I Know Is True" by Wally Lamb.
Last time you got in to a serious arguement: serious? Ehhhm...a few years ago.
Least favorite thing about a day care center: They are filthy and understaffed.
Last time you received flowers from someone: April 1 - for my anniversary.
Last time you had a bubble bath: I can't even remember..... :(
Last item you purchased out of compulsiveness: A scarf watch - it still isn't accomplishing what I needed...

Anyone else wants to participate in the interviews? Don't answer this one, I'll make one up and send it your way. If you're interested, leave me a comment. I need your blog address and e-mail address. If you don't want to post your e-mail address, that's cool and understandable, go to the side content and find the "Contact Me" link and shoot me an e-mail.

Interviewing Gina

My next interview is Gina. She's an Aquarius, opinionated teenager and she rocks. Go here to check out her blog.

1. What's your blog about? This is your one and only chance to plug your blog.

My blog is about me, my rants and feelings on everything from politics to music.

2. In your blog profile you list watching wrestling as one of your likes. You list Raw and Smackdown as two of your favorite shows. Plesse list the five wrestlers you enjoy the most and one thing about each of them that makes them awesome in your minds eyes.

1. The Undertaker- The Undertaker is an awesome wrestler because he's been around for so long. He's never been defeated at Wrestlemania and to many (myself included) he's a legend.

2. John Cena- Though some may describe Cena as a "wigga" his street style and "thug" attitude appeals to many of this generation. No matter where Smackdown goes he has a way of bringing the crowd to life.

3. Eddie Guerrero- His sly attitude, and his mischievous ways just appeal to me for some reason. I love the cars he brings out as well..

4. Batista- I think Batista is awesome because he has not only broken up Evolution, but he also managed to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H. Not being a Triple H fan myself, I was pleased to see Batista win the title at this past Wrestlemania. Plus he's not so bad looking..

5. And finally I would have to say Rey Mysterio. Though he's small he has moves that not even the top wrestlers can beat. He's sharp, feisty and quick on his feet. And seeing him live was something I will never forget.

Though there are MANY more I like..you only asked for 5 so there they are.

3. I know you're far from being a fan of President Bush. I don't want to turn this in to a big political debate or arguement. Please briefly summarize three things that you dislike most about Bush.

1. I don't like the fact that George W Bush tries to impose his religious views on the whole country. Sure it's great to have an opinion, but don't tell me that if I fell in love with a girl and wanted to marry her that I couldn't just because your bible says so.

2. Bush attacked Iraq without the proper information, what's next someone reports that Japan has WMD and we bomb them?

3. Honestly I can't stand Bush's smirk. It sounds stupid but I can't stand his cocky attitude. Ok we got it you won, get over it.

4. Millions of people tune in to the show American Idol week after week to watch these performers battle it out to be number one. What is your opinion on this show?

American Idol is an okay show... I watch it occasionally but I don't see any one that stands out too much. The only season I paid any attention to was the first, because of Kelly paid and her amazing voice. I dunno, it's for some people, and not for others.

5. Have you done the following?

Kissed a frog: Well if you don't count my ex boyfriend Phillip...then no.
Burned something you were cooking: Yeah, I burnt rice before ..it was nasty.
Ran from the police: Nope, never had a reason to.
Broke someone else's window: No way!
te something you dropped on the ground: I would be lying if I said no, but it was a really clean floor and it fell for about 2 seconds ...
Egged someone's house or vehicle: Nope.
Purchased one or more N Sync album: I have the Celebrity cd ...I think that's what it's called. I was more of a Backstreet Boy girl myself.

6. Out of everyone you know, who are your three favorite people to spend time with and why?

1. Sofia- She's my best friend and she's always there for me.

2. My Mother- She's my mum, and we get along. We're both bipolar..so we tend to feed off of each other's wave lengths.

3. Travis- He really gets me, and he makes me feel so happy when we're together. Plus I love him..so why wouldn't I want to be with him?

7. Word Association. I say the word, you respond with the first word or phrase that comes to your mind.

Green: Day
Electrical: Shock
Dennis Rodman: Wedding Dress
Roach: Bros
Fighter: Christina
Cream: Iced
Eskimo: American
Polka: Dots
Television: Show
Madonna: Britney
Albino: Rat

8. For 5 Million non-taxable dollars you have to either eat walnuts and cabbage for every meal for a full year or wear a shirt that says "George W. Bush is my Hero" for an entire year. Which do you choose and why?

I would take the Walnuts and Cabbage. As long as it's not a meat product or a bug/anything.. disgusting I would eat it. Never EVER would you find me wearing a Bush is my Hero shirt.. I have my reasons, and I plan to stick by them.

9. Take a walk down Memory Lane. Please share your fondest memory about the following dates...

1989: January 27th, I came in to this world.
1990: Don't remember much.. Just getting read to.
1992: It was my last year of being an only child!
1995: I was doing very well in school.
1998: My sister and I used to dress up like the Spice Girls and perform for our family.
2000: I remember people were so obsessed with Pokemon...me being one of them.
2003: I was finally "set free" from my Bipolar trap when I got some help..
Last 4th of July: I was home watching my dogs...listening to my uncle play manic music, and watching Invader Zim

10. Parting Words from Gina.....

Last time you called someone a butthead: Um.. Never!
Last type of candy you ate: A lollipop
Last time you hoola-hooped: Probably third grade..
Favorite thing about your dogs : My dogs are so lovable and unique in their own ways, one's balding, ones blind, and one is manic!
Last time you overslept and were late to school: I can honestly say I was never late to school..but I'm homeschooled now, so it's not like it matters.
Last time you got caught passing notes: 7th grade Mr. Goldstein's class..
Last object you intentionally or unintentionally broke: I broke this plastic scotch tape holder.

Who else wants to participate in the interviews? If you do, leave me a comment. I need your blog address and e-mail address. If you don't want to post your e-mail address, that's cool and understandable, go to the side content and find the "Contact Me" link and shoot me an e-mail.

Sappy Entry

Warning: Sap alert. Will resume regular postings of humor, news, opinions, bitching, ranting and interviewing shortly. Check your e-mails by the way, Gmail's been acting weird on me so I'm not sure if my mails were sent since no one has replied back to any of the 6 interviews I just sent out to various people. Thank you.

I was reading an e-mail earlier from a female friend of mine. She was explaining to me why she keeps going back to her ex. To me it makes no sense because I only ever saw the way he treats her in front of other people. I saw him away from her and he acted so much nicer but he also always flirted with a ton of other girls, sometimes even in front of her and then got mad at her when she got upset. He did other things that don't fall into the "treat your girl well" category but we won't dive into that list. So in the email, she's explaining to me all the stuff that I don't understand.

It got me thinking and I'd like to ask everyone who reads or even just scans this blog a question. Do you ever get over your first real love? Think about it before you answer. Some people marry and spend the rest of their lives with their first love. Others end up drifting apart or something happens to cause a break-up but even sometimes after the break-up, sometimes even a year or so later, you find yourself still loving that person despite everything. I don't understand all of her reasonings and a lot of it doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe it's not one of those things that you're supposed to come up with a reason to back it. Maybe it just is what it is. Life hurts sometimes, right? So the question I hope at least a few of you will answer is this... Do you ever really get over your first real love?

Everybody needs to smile...

Hey dames and dudes, I've got quite a bit of requests in for blog niterviews. Which is great but it takes me time to get them done so if you don't hear back from me right away, don't worry. I usually e-mail everyone who sends a request once I get the request to let you know I'm working on it. I'll get them done. Thanks all.

Alright, time for me to make a funny post. It'll amuse you at least once unless you just have no sense of humor which in that case, forgo this whole post. Or if you're very easily amused you'll enjoy the majority of the jokes and pictures I'm about to post. So enjoy, take it easy and have a great day everyone!

A very shy guy goes into a bar and sees a beautiful woman sitting at the bar. After an hour of gathering up his courage he finally goes over to her and asks, tentatively, "Um, would you mind if I chatted with you for a while?"

She responds by yelling, at the top of her lungs, "No, I won't sleep with you tonight!" Everyone in the bar is now staring at them.

Naturally, the guy is hopelessly and completely embarrassed and he slinks back to his table.

After a few minutes, the woman walks over to him and apologizes. She smiles at him and says, "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. You see, I'm a graduate student in psychology and I'm studying how people respond to embarrassing situations."

To which he responds, at the top of his lungs, "What do you mean $200?"

Alice and Monica were having a rare heart-to-heart talk.

"What do you consider your worst vice," Alice asked.

"I don't like to admit it," Monica said, "but my worst vice is vanity.

Sometimes I sit in front of the mirror and just admire my face."

"I wouldn't worry about it," said Alice. "That's not vanity. That's imagination."

An old farmer was hauling a load of manure when he was stopped by a state trooper. "You were speeding," the cop said. "I'm going to have to give you a ticket."

"Yep," the farmer said as he watched the trooper shoo away several flies.

"These flies sure are terrible," the trooper complained.

"Yep," the farmer said. "Them are circle flies."

"What's a circle fly?"

"Them flies that circle a horse's tail," answered the farmer. "Them are circle flies."

"You wouldn't be calling me a horse's ass, would you?" the trooper angrily asked.

"Nope, I didn't," the farmer replied. "But you just can't fool them flies."

The teen-aged beauty was telling a friend that she was really worried about her mother. It seems she's always fatigued from staying up all night long.

Her friend asked, "What's she doing staying up all night? At her age, that's not good at all."

The girl replied, "Waiting for me to come home."

Alright people that's all I've got for you all today. Hopefully you found something there to laugh or smile about. If not you should check your pulse or maybe just lighten up a little bit. Have some fun and be safe whatever you end up doing.

Maroux Interview

Hello guys and girls! I'm back again with a new interview. The next blogger to take the plunge and open up a little bit is Maroux. You can find her blog right here and for a preview on this sweet and inspired girl, read on.

1. What's your blog about? This is your one and only chance to plug your blog.

It's Poetry blog wherein I dislodge all good, bad, happy sad and wretched emotions through. I sometimes write other stuff that would give people a glimpse of who I really am. It's a special place where I unmask myself through the written words but of course I wouldn't say it's a great blog, it's always up to the reader to decide for themselves.

2. The majority of your blog is poetry. What's the biggest thing that inspires you to write so much and so well?

The biggest thing that inspires me is the chance to express myself. I am truly shy in person and sometimes there are things that I cannot directly say to people I care about thus I use poetry as a medium. You could say I sort of hide behind words lolz.

Most of my poems if not all are based on personal experiences so I guess it's safe to say that the other big half of the inspiration is the people in my life, may they be friends, loved ones, blog acquaintances and all those who have touched my life in one or the other

3. Have you ever truly been in love?

Yes and I am right now

4. What are three things that make you happy?

1. Ice cream (praline's n' cream)
2. My li'l clownie devil
3. Good books

5. Have you done the following?

Eaten french fries mixed with ice cream: yes almost every chance I get
Burned your neck with a curling iron: once
Laughed so hard you cried: yes
Kissed two different people in the same night: no (unhygienic)
Gone sky diving: no
Talked about someone behind their back: yes (but I told her about it afterwards)
Hid something that belonged to someone else to watch them look for it: yes
